Our approach to voluntary sewa contributions and payment issues.
Sewa contributions support the Shobha Yatra Mahotsav and the purpose you choose. They are not purchases of products or tickets and do not guarantee a particular service or event access. Please confirm the amount and purpose before authorising payment.
You can leave the Cashfree checkout before payment is completed. The website will not show a successful contribution unless Cashfree confirms it on the server. If your bank shows a debit but the website shows pending, wait for confirmation or contact the Samiti with the payment reference. Avoid paying again until the first payment is checked.
If a payment was duplicated, made for an incorrect amount or was unauthorised, contact the Samiti as soon as possible with the Cashfree order reference, amount, date and registered mobile number. Please do not send your UPI PIN, card security code or banking password. The Samiti will review the payment and any refund request individually.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through the payment provider. The time taken depends on the provider and your bank. Contributions already used towards their stated festival purpose may not be refundable; the Samiti will explain its decision when reviewing your request. Statutory rights, where applicable, are not limited by this policy.
Online membership is free, so no membership payment requires a refund. Procession programmes can change due to local arrangements, weather or permissions. Contact the Samiti if a change affects the purpose of your contribution.
