How Mahaveer Sewa Samiti handles the details you choose to share.
Membership collects your name, Indian mobile number, address and photograph. Sewa contributions collect your name, mobile, address, contribution amount and purpose. Contact and sewadar forms collect the details you submit. We record consent, verification and submission dates to administer these services.
We use your details to register membership, create your certificate, prevent automated registrations, respond to enquiries, coordinate festival sewa and maintain payment records. We do not sell your details. Online membership does not automatically subscribe you to promotional messages.
Member photographs and contact details are private and available only to authorised administrators. Anyone with your certificate’s verification link can see your name and whether your online membership is verified or revoked. They cannot see your mobile, address or photograph on that verification page. Please share your certificate thoughtfully.
Cashfree processes payments through its secure checkout. Card credentials, banking passwords and UPI PINs are not collected or stored by this website. Membership uses a devotional captcha, a one-use verification challenge and rate limits. Your mobile number is self-reported and is not verified by SMS. Contact and sewa forms use Cloudflare Turnstile for automated spam checks. Each provider processes the data required for its service under its own policies.
Your preferred language and Ram naam jap progress are stored in your browser on your device. The jap counter is not a public spiritual score and is not added to your membership. Administrators use a secure session cookie when signing in. Clearing browser storage removes your local preferences and jap progress.
When analytics are enabled, we convert your IP address into a keyed hash to count unique visitors without storing the raw address. We record the public page visited, date, broad device category and referral category. No analytics cookies, precise location, form details or membership verification links are collected. One shared IP may represent several people. The lifetime count keeps one hashed record per IP; daily page records support the admin traffic report. You can contact the Samiti about these records.
Contact the Samiti to request correction, a copy or deletion of your submitted details. We may verify your mobile before making changes. Membership information is kept while the membership is active; financial records may be retained where needed for accounting or applicable obligations. Children should use the forms with a parent or guardian’s involvement.
